Maharani India - Elk Grove

Loved the freshly made food including drinks and friendly staff . We ordered aloo gobi pranthas, chole bhatura and idlis. Everything tasted good and fresh. Definitely visiting again.

Since I've been eating here for a while, the food has never let me down. Friends of mine that I took there frequently go back. I've only used the buffet before. Although occasionally a little slow, the service is generally good and the staff are always courteous. How much service should one expect from a buffet? This restaurant is among the top two that I have eaten at while traveling the world, including Antarctica.

Best Chicken Korma in Elk Grove that I’ve tried. Recently my family moved to the area and I’ve been craving a good chicken korma. This is the 4th or 5th Indian restaurant we’ve tried and definitely the best flavor so far. We tried the chicken and veggie Korma, the garbanzo bean dish, egg plant dish and okra dish. My family all agreed the flavor was great. Their spice scale is higher than the other local restaurants. I’ve ordered medium at other Indian restaurants and it’s ranged from mild to just right. Here medium was a tad hot for me but delicious. We will come back!

We ate here over Thanksgiving weekend and were blown away by how good the food was. It was at least as good as some of the fancier places in bay area. I would give 6 stars if I could. Quite inexpensive too. We had 3 dishes and all were delectable.

I Always buy samosas from the restaurant whenever we have celebration at home. This time we recommended the maharani restaurant for work celebration and the food was great. Everyone was Praising the food and asking about the restaurant. The food was delicious and fresh like always.
