Happy Elephant - Elk Grove Village

So I used to go to this Thai place in Addison that had some of the best Thai food and my favorite dish which is drunken noodles. Unfortunately that place closed due to the pandemic. So I have find a new Thai place. Sadly this wasn?t it for me. I ordered myusual dish with shrimp and a coconut shrimp appetizer. The coconut shrimp was the best part. The DN? Well it didn?t taste likethe drunken noodles that I usually expect from Thai cuisine. I also tasted pineapple and I never had pineapple on the disheither idk. The noodles were find but the seasonings felt bland. Could have used more. Also the size of the dinner entree dishlooked more like a lunch special size potion. SMH. Well at least the coconut shrimp was delicious along with the sweet and soursauce. Great crunch and flavor. Nice balance. But oh well, I?ll be looking elsewhere for my beloved drunken noodles.

I order my way to Thai court, pad woon sen, and was disappointed on the basis of the reviews. glass noodles were very chewing and overall type of poor taste. I ate the half and sat the rest. I will try again and update my review if better.

Gary and Kim are two of the nicest people you’ll ever meet! The food is excellent! If you’ve never had Thai food, try it, you must give them a try. No doubt you will go back.

Tasty food, super sweet thai iced tea, Coconut soup has a strange sour taste to it.

Placed an order on Grubhub for delivery (the restaurant's own delivery driver) and the order was straight up IGNORED by the restaurant. This was my only option for dinner. By the time the order was set to arrive, every other restaurant had closed, including this one. Worst experience I've had with this restaurant. Extremely disappointing.
