Jerry's Famous Frankfurters - Elizabeth

I've been going to Jerry's for over 40 years, and I absolutely love their hot dogs. They boil and then smoke them, which gives them an amazing flavor. The homemade chili is simply delicious!

The chili at this place is genuinely one-of-a-kind – it’s bursting with flavors and spices that somewhat remind me of Indian cuisine (though it's definitely not curry!). The sauerkraut has a more classic taste than what you’d find at Tommy’s; it has a stronger pickled flavor and goes really well with mustard. There are a few benches across the street where you can enjoy these hot dogs, but I noticed that most people chose to double park and take theirs to go.
