DO NOT EAT HERE!!!PLEASE READ!!!!Let me start by saying this place was not my first choice but against my better judgment…First, apparently you have to order ahead of time if u want fries or wait 15 min “ because it takes forever to warm up” 2nd the hot dogs were warm at best the chili had such a strong nutmeg taste and the mustard was the cheap vinegar kind 3rd he offered me empanadas in place of the fries. he gave me a beef or chicken option (chose the chicken) well idk if I would’ve been screwed either way but (here’s w where it gets gross) I took a bite and in my head i was like oh there’s cheese lol NOPE !! As I opened the empanada the smell smacked me in the face! The meat was fermenting and had a jelly stringy consistency immediately tried to spew everything I just ate, drank a little listerine and I hope I’ll be ok but my stomach is definitely making some weird noisesStay safe everyone
Local favorite with new additions to the menu. Glad the business opened after their fire!!!
Unfortunately Jerry’s was closed the day I went even though website indicates they should be open. Tom’s sausage down the block got my business instead. Sausages a cheesesteak. Very filling. Lots of potato’s on the side. Also wandered into Centannis down the road and bought some sausages. Owner said his grandfather opened the store in the 1920s and he expanded into the corner property in the 1970s. Age wise Centannis in the neighborhood longer than Tom’s (1969) and Jerry’s (1930s)
