Sandwich Market - Elizabeth City

There are many new restaurants in town but The Sandwich Market is an institution for Elizabeth City and a must Go when you are in the area. They may look simple but they are definitely made with love and you can taste it!!! A normal place for locals and a great stop destination for travelers!!! The decoration of the restaurant is something different but amazing! I go to EC at least three times per year to visit and each time this must go place for me. The staff is super friendly, they bring up the food to your table and they are just the best people to get food from. I have tried several of their sandwiches and none of them have disappointed me. I have gone with at least 4 other people and all of them loved their sandwiches!!! I highly recommend it

We had a delightful quick lunch between our photo sessions. The prices are reasonable, and the sandwiches are delicious. The service is both fast and friendly.

The ambiance is relaxed and cozy, adorned with a fascinating collection of vintage antiques on the walls, and they’ve even added a foosball table for some extra fun. There's something to satisfy everyone's taste. They also have a drive-thru window where you can call in your order and just zip through for a quick pickup. This restaurant has been a beloved local spot for years and managed to survive the pandemic when many others did not. It's definitely worth a visit!
