Lovely hotel great staff, food was excellent all day breakfast lovely). Unfortunately on our second morning there was one person running everything I felt sorry for her as she was doing her best apparently staff hadnt turned up ???? We had an absolutely fantastic weekend at the Eight Acres . We were there to celebrate a 70th birthday. The suite we got was lovely. The staff in all departments were amazing . Friendly, professional and attentive . The food in the restaurant was exquisite. They even had an ale with the same name as me .!!. Would definitely recommend. We are already planning our return. Food drinks: The restaurant was excellent. Duck on night one and sea bream on night two . Both absolutely delicious. Five stars our of five for the chef. !!!.
