Wingstop - Elgin

I love this place. The chicken strips in lemon pepper sauce is awesome.

Chicken sandwich came out hot, and sauce was just spicy enough. Good service and place was clean and organized. I came in on a Thursday I believe. Sunny day and warm last week. Good job. And the fries were outstanding. Hot and crispy.

Wingstop is no longer worth the cost. The chicken is good, but EVERYTIME we go here, there is no seasoning on the fries. We have been going less and less to Wingstop the past year or so. The location in St Charles has the same issue. The fam ate there again tonight tho and ordered 3 large fries with our chicken. Was there seasoning on the fries? NO, NO THERE WASN’T. Not only that, but the basket of fries was a little over half full, so we feel cheated on that too since it used to be a full basket. All of us decided the value is no longer there and we are done with wingstop. They want to go cheap, we will take our business elsewhere. I gave 2 stars cuz the chicken was still good. Priblem is that my wife a 1 kid don’t eat chicken, just the fries. Both ended up making Ramen noodles tonight. The ranch is still the best ever, but it won’t make up for the fries situation.

The way this food was hitting late at night was definitely a move. I like the fact that they don’t mess the order up thanks Caroline and how the food actually tastes good.

Carolina was so incredibly kind, helpful and accommodating. During a dinner rush she actually offered me a sample of the sauces while multitasking other things. Overall a great experience because of her.
