Third Coast Wings And Daiquiris - Elgin

I ordered the Elgin Cheeseburger Combo for takeout on UberEATS. I attempted to call the restaurant multiple times to check if the food was ready before heading over for pickup, as the UberEATS app indicated that the food could possibly be ready instead of being ready (which was very strange, as I had never seen that on UberEATS before). Unfortunately, nobody answered the phone, causing me to worry that the restaurant might be closed. However, to my surprise, when I arrived there were two employees present. The French fries were not crispy due to being in the hot styrofoam to-go container and were a bit soggy. The burger was well-seasoned and tasty, but also a bit soggy. Additionally, they forgot to include the drink that was supposed to come with the Elgin Cheeseburger Combo, and I only realized this once I had returned home. Overall, I believe my experience may have been better if I had dined in. The interior of the restaurant was very dark and seemed closed off. The burger was decent and better than other burger places in town. I would consider ordering a burger to dine in at the restaurant again and try other items on the menu. Perhaps the second time will be better?

I ordered boneless barbecue wings for the kids and spicy garlic bone-in wings for myself. The spicy garlic could have been a bit spicier to suit my taste, but overall everything was hot, fresh, and delicious!

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised to find this hidden gem in Elgin. The food was delicious, the drinks were excellent, and the staff was friendly. The restaurant was also very clean, creating a pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Best wings in town of Elgin, and daiquiri. Been trying to find a wing spot and this was it! The Margarita Daiquiri really hit the spot. Would be visiting this spot again.

The place we planned on eating at closed early for Independence Day holiday, so we went a few blocks down to Third Coast. It's a bar that serves bar-type food. We had 3 very hungry kids with us, so we walked in and were seated by a very young lady. Find out later it was the cook's granddaughters helping. Anyway, she took our beverage orders and was served immediately, but it did take a long time for her to return to take our order. We were the only ones in the whole place. It took 20 minutes to get our food with one child's food forgotten, so she had to wait an additional 10 minutes, but she downed the cheeseburger and fries with no complaints. Only one sub-par food was the alligator bites. They were tough with lots of gristle.
