Cowboy N Angles - Elgin

This place fits right in with the Wranglers Rest Motel just behind it. The place is great, the food is awesome and the staff is customer service oriented. They really go the extra way to ensure that orders are correct. The extra bonus is that the food is downright tasty! They usually have specials too. If you're staying around town, seeing the sights or just passing through, stop by and have a bite. You will be glad you did.

We had a great meal here. Kind, attentive service, and good food, especially the phenomenal steak, cooked perfectly. I would happily eat here again and again if I spent time in Elgin. Thanks for a nice meal!

Giant pancakes, some of the best gravy in the whole world , I've ever tasted ! They have gluten free waffles . Wonderful place ! Good price. Nice service .

Whenever I travel, I always try to locate a good locally-owned establishment. While traveling Hwy 204 on a Sunday afternoon, I thought I had happened upon a quaint little place. I was greeted by a friendly hello and told to seat myself anywhere. That was the last interaction I had with anyone. For the next 15 minutes I waited patiently for a menu, a glass of water, or even just a wink or a nod that my presence was noted and someone would eventually serve me. Nothing. I did not receive so much as even eye contact with any wait staff. Mind you, the place was not busy and I was not in any hurry whatsoever. Do they only serve locals? After 15 minutes of waiting I stood up and walked out. No one said a word to me. It may be that they have good food, but I 'll never know. I ended up at Subway.

Friendly staff, clean facility and decent food. My Philly cheese steak was cubed beef rather than sliced. Little tough but very edible with the peppers, onions and cheese. The wife had the taco salad said it was very good. My only complaint is chips vs fries with your sandwich . Fries are extra as are side salad in lieu of chips. Otherwise it was good and about average priced. $20 for two for lunch. Great iced tea and strawberry lemonade. Decent salad bar, not outstanding but good. We'll try breakfast here someday. Fast and pleasant service. We had a large group and was served promptly .
