Eldred Preserve

We've been going to Eldred for 60 years! We always took our kids to fish at the trout farm. We were sad to see that go but this place is beautiful! The restaurant is wonderful, great views, service was excellent and the food delicious. We didn't see therooms however.

This past Thursday, August 25,2022 we visited Eldred for the first time in 25 years. What a pleasant surprise! The place was completely redone, the grounds are beautiful and elegant. We had dinner at the Homestead restaurant: delicious and beautifullyprepared. The best part was our waitress Jackie, a warm and wonderful young lady who made us welcome with a great smile on herface. The whole thing was a great experience especially because Eldred is a big part of many pleasant memories from the past.??????

The architecture and outdoor scenery were beautifully designed, both inside and out. I would rate it 5 stars for that alone. However, that’s about all you can expect.

This restaurant should have waited to open until it had more time to prepare and improve.
