R Place-supperclub - Eland

Seven of us stopped in on a Saturday evening, opening day of deer hunting. We were all quite surprised at how good the food was. The owner and staff were very nice people, and the steaks, and even the cheeseburger (that I had) were delicious and a good value. There was even a nice salad bar included. Oddly, it wasn 't real crowded, but that may change with the new owners in charge now. The name of the place is no longer R Place but rather I think it is now The Midway or something close to that. There are not a lot of choices of places to get a nice cocktail and good food in the area, so I 'm glad we stumbled across this little gem. We 'll be back, that 's for sure!
