El Tarasco - El Segundo

Great food! Great Service! Great Prices! I'd eat here any day! In particualar, I was a huge fan of the homemade chips and salsa!

Had three different street tacos on Taco Tuesday, each pretty good. Chips and salsa were tasty. Not very expensive. Service was OK, nothing special, but they did frequently come around to make sure everything was alright. Busy place, even on a weeknight. Seating inside and outside, but note it's not a very large restaurant. Not sure if they accept reservations.

Ate there 3-5x a week for years! I've moved far away but when I fly back into town I stop there first... then head over to see the family. Yeah, its that good!

El Tarasco is really hard to beat! I love their carnitas, chicken burritos (Jr Deluxe), chips etc. Their food is the best.

Was one of the few in the place that spoke English as my 1st language, an indicator that maybe this was a real Mexican place. Very small, only about a dozen tables in 2 rooms, but good service, HUGE chips salsa, good beer selection. Had the Super Ground Beef Burrito, about as big as a football! Very tasty, lots of guacamole tomato sauce, filled w/lots of ground beef, rice. Supposedly 1 of a chain of 11, but it was good local color for me. I'll be back!
