Tacos Don Cuco - El Paso

The cashier at the Alameda location today, who had a neck tattoo and was wearing a yellow shirt, should not be working at the front counter. When I walked in and went straight to the register, everyone was just standing around. She turned around, looked at me, and continued talking to her coworker. I waited a while, and she finally greeted me with a casual "buenas tardes" without even making eye contact. Sorry, but good customer service should at least make an effort to make you feel valued as a customer.

The restaurant was clean and I ordered the menu items, which were good. They were just a little salty but overall very tasty. The service was fast and friendly.

I absolutely loved the Tacos the first time I tried them, so much so that I ordered them again the next day. The meat was tender and juicy, and the flavors were super simple and affordable. I got the Al Pastor and Suadero, both of which were very delicious. The Suadero was crispy and juicy, some of the best I've ever had. However, the second time I ordered, the Suadero wasn't crispy and tasted bland and overcooked. The same went for the Al Pastor. Despite the inconsistencies in the meat preparation, I still enjoyed the tacos and would definitely order them again.

Tacos were really good ! A lot of option in the salsa bar ! Horchata was perfect.

I would definitely recommend trying the new addition to the menu, nachos with your choice of meat like beef, tripe, or pork stomach. It was a bit of a challenge to finish, but worth it! Overall, I would give the food a rating of 4 out of 5.
