Smash N' Roll - El Paso

Sadly, this venue is closed. I live upstairs and it was my go-to for a quick, good burger and fries or just a beer. I have good memories here!

Honestly, it was hard to give a rating for this place. I feel like it 's a 3.5 star spot because the food is actually pretty good but I think that gets messed up with the interior design and the location it 's at. The inside of the restaurant is really strange and is honestly set up in a very unwelcoming way by being greeted with a cashier that feels more like a fast food spot than a sit down restaurant but with sit down restaurant style booths. It 's also confusing becasue the booths are actually in between a place that could be used for a bartender but the place doesn 't give bar vibes. More family and fast food vibes. I just don 't think the design was thought out very well on what type of restaurant they want this to be which is unfortunate because their burgers are really good. IDK. I come here every now and then, but I think it 's alright if you miss it. I think it needs to go through a bit of a what do I want to be? phase so that it can solidify what target market it is trying to reach and even what kind of experience they want to give to their customers and hopefully they do it fast.

I always order the smash burger. It is delicious. The wait time to get my food is pretty quick. Staff is also friendly and the beer is cheap $3).

Flavor was good, meat was toughfries were soggywouldn't pay $14 for that again

Decent spot to grab a bite to eat. My husband got the burger and said it was good, fries had a weird beer after taste. I got the salad. Flavor was good, only weird thing was the chicken was grilled and then fried? Kind of weird to fry grilled chicken. Overall though it was a decent spot to stop for food.
