Olive Garden Italian - El Paso

I arrived at this restaurant location as soon as they opened at 11am, and it quickly filled up. It was a Wednesday and I came with a friend who recommended it, though 11am is a bit early for me to eat Italian food. The service was good and the food was hot, with the familiar flavor you expect from Olive Garden. The Italian soup was a bit cold, but the salad was delicious. The Tour of Italy dish was great, with the exception of the Alfredo pasta which tasted too much like milk for my liking. I didn't finish it. The peach iced tea was refreshing and light, and I would recommend it. Overall, it was a good experience, but I think I'll stick to dinner time and visit the west side location next time. Thank you.

The restaurant experience can vary depending on the server you get. I have never not left a tip for someone before, as I understand how little they get paid. However, I must say that on this occasion, the server did not deserve a tip. It took her almost as long as our food to bring our drinks, despite our attempts to get her attention. She seemed more interested in chatting with her coworker than attending to us. On a subsequent visit, we received excellent service from a very friendly server. The food was delicious both times. Overall, it just depends on who your server is.

My husband picked up dinner for us, and the employee was very friendly. The food at this restaurant is always amazing. It made my night. Plus, my food was prepared quickly even though they were busy.

The food was terrible, very dry and seemed to have been reheated in a microwave. I ordered the Italian trio and the pasta in the lasagna was even hard , the chicken fried patty was like rubber. My husband had the Tuscany soup and he said it was watered down and only had potatoes one piece of meat the size of a dime. Our server was really nice and attentive restaurant seemed clean. But the food needs a major upgrade! Our plates looked nothing like the Olive Garden commercials. So disappointing.?

Food is always great here but for the first time ever the bread sticks were hard and clearly had been sitting out a while. I didn't want to bother the waitress with it but after I started eating and she didn't come around too often due to getting everyone's drinks, I wish I had asked for fresh ones. It really made the difference in the meal. We still love Olive Garden and will return ever chance we get!
