Corralito Steak House - El Paso

When we asked for our checks, it took 20 minutes for them to arrive, and processing the payment took an additional 30 minutes. We were unaware that an automatic 20% gratuity would be added to our bill, and even that was mishandled — one charge was duplicated while another was missing entirely. After two and a half hours, we finally left the restaurant with our issues still unresolved. I was very disappointed and will not return or recommend this place. One of our guests returned the next day to contest the double 20% fee, and that was eventually addressed. Corralitos on Doniphan is definitely not a place I would suggest.

The ambiance of the restaurant is pleasant, although the tables are a bit too close to each other. The food was delicious, but I did notice that the asparagus was not properly trimmed, leaving some tough ends attached. The lighting in my section of the restaurant was quite dim, which was less than ideal for our business meeting. On the positive side, the atmosphere was nice and private. The service was outstanding—very attentive and impeccable all around.

The dining experience was great, with excellent service and a respectable wine list that's perfect for smaller groups (under 10 people). The atmosphere is comfortable, although parking can sometimes be tricky. The Queso Fondido with rajas is absolutely delightful, and the spicy sauce that accompanies the short ribs is truly impressive!

Great food...the signature steak was great....the desserts were awesome!

I visited this restaurant for the first time after checking out their menu, but I was quite disappointed. The steaks were tough, and the seasoning on one was excessively salty, while the other lacked flavor entirely. Considering the price, I expected something extraordinary. Overall, I was very disappointed!
