Cafe Italia - El Paso

The owner was quite rude. They were unable to accommodate a group larger than 11 people, yet they attempted to squeeze our family of 14 into one table, even though there were other tables open.

I had the worst customer experience ever at this restaurant. The waitstaff were incredibly rude to my family and me, especially on my mother's birthday. When we expressed that we couldn’t fit at our table, they suggested we go to Peter Piper Pizza if we didn't like their attitude. They also told us that if they got busy, they wouldn't be able to serve us. To top it off, they claimed they didn't have any sodas available and suggested we go to Circle K to buy some, but then said they would charge us for the sodas we brought back. It was incredibly disappointing.

Food was really good... Delicious actually. But the menu was very small, some might say focused. Atmosphere was a little loud and indoor space a little cramped. BYOB... No wine menu. Value for food was good not great. I would go back by myself for some delicious and filling Italian food. It would be a good spot for a simple date. I would definitely hesitate to go with a family and kids.

Our service was okay, but it wasn't any more attentive than what other tables received, and there was nothing particularly special about it—just average. The food was decent, but it wasn’t impressive enough to justify the 20% charge or to make me want to come back. I hope they enjoy that extra charge.

Fresh mozzarella was delicious. Best pasta alfredo I have ever eaten! Delicious bread. Meatball calzone was delicious too.
