La Palma La - El Monte

We visited for Mother’s Day and felt that the occasion wasn’t really made special. There were a few balloons in one corner, but no special menu or unique touches. Although the restaurant is beautiful, its large size made it feel quite empty. It seems more like a nightclub in the evening, which detracts from the dining experience. Our server was very friendly, though. The menu was quite limited for a Mexican restaurant, and I expected more variety. However, to our pleasant surprise, what we ordered turned out to be quite good. I had the sopis, which were beautifully presented and delicious. If it weren't for the tasty food and the lovely service, I would have been disappointed, but those two aspects really made a difference for us. That said, I do tend to have high standards when dining out!

It is a great restaurant that I ordered the Ribeye the decoration was on point, but the steak needed more seasoning it lobster Mac is amazing

Our server was very pleasant, though. The menu was limited and had only a few options for a Mexican restaurant, which I thought was a missed opportunity. However, to my surprise and that of our guests, what we ordered was quite good. I had the sopis, which were beautifully presented and delicious. If not for the decent food from their restricted menu and the lovely service, I would have been disappointed, but these two aspects really made a difference. I do tend to have high standards when dining out, haha.
