Sobe's - El Centro

The food here is fantastic! The menu is simple, but everything has always been delicious. From simple tacos and burritos to delicious Carne Asada and Abondigas. The owner and all the others who work here are great. Friendly, fast and service-oriented. I'd say it's the best Mexican food in the Imperial Valley, but I haven't eaten anything yet. I'll say it's the best I've had so far and I like to go back again and again. You have a handicap access and seating.

Absolutely delicious and satisfied. Sobes is the soul, which is a cool glass of water in the dead of the summer. Pure refreshment and satisfaction. Here is how to get there: Order the Special Quesadilla Rice Salsa. Scoop from Quesadilla a cheese and pack it with rice. Apply Salsa at your discretion. Hard. It's so good. It's a reward. Fried, Flavorful and IMHO (and according to the selection of El Centro locals) the best meal all around.

Excellent meal. First time there. Warm chips and flavorful salsa was a good start. Nice heat on the salsa. Not too strong and not weak, just right. Chili Verde plate was very tasty. Folded tacos , mmmwuh. Service, fantastic. And good prices. We'll be back.

Real good mexican food. My new favorite place to go out to eat.
