7-eleven - El Centro

On the evening of March 22, 2019, my wife and I experienced a tire failure on our motorcycle while on vacation in winter. Fortunately, this happened in El Centro, California late at night. We met a kind young man named Joel at the Chevron gas station located at 1485 Ocotillo Drive. Despite our struggles with our roadside assistance provider, Joel offered to help us get back to our RV and trailer in Quartzite, AZ without hesitation. He drove us the 2-1/2 hours to our destination, without expecting anything in return. After a few hours, he and a colleague even returned to wash our car before leaving. Thanks to Joel and the community in El Centro, we were able to make it back home safely. We are grateful for their kindness and look forward to returning next snowbird season to reconnect with our new friends. Thank you, Joel!
