Pietro's Cafe - El Calafate

We had lunch here before we went to Chili. We thought we just ordered a sandwich, but seemed to be a huge full sandwich with many frits. Very fresh, warm and delicious. Just a huge bite. We don't need dinner.

We stopped at 6:00 p.m. and we are served politely and quickly. But it's relaxed and we haven't rushed to go. One of us had the hamburger and the other had the meat with Gnocchi. Both were very good! We had beer on Hahn, although they had only two choices at the time. My meat was tender and so delicious. Price was very reasonable at about $25. US dollars. Tip was included and free Wi-Fi. We enjoyed seeing football (futbol).

I rarely write a bad review. This is a bad review. Sat down at one of the patio tables. There was only one other tabke there. Waiter came and took our order. We waited. And waited. And waited. In the meantime the patio was filling up and people were getting their orders. Waiter came back to take our order so we told hime w already ordered our 2 coffees. A , sorry, ok. 2 more tables get seated next to us. He tajes their order and they get their coffees. I asked him VERY POLITELY if he had forgotten our order and he gets incredibly offended and starts arguing with me about patience instead of saying sorry, I 'll get them right away . I tell him we have been waiting 35 minutes for 2 coffees and he gets angrier so we just left. Again, I rarely write bad reviews but this deserved it.

We liked this place so much that we came back three times. The service was exceptionally friendly and efficient. We had no full meal, but the Omelettes and lens specialists were delicious. What we liked most was the coffee and the chance to watch the world in El Calafate.

We eat here because of the good reviews. The place was busy, but honestly I didn't think the food was very good. We ordered two burgers, an empanada and a pizza. The parts were big. The pizza crust was teig, the burgers were dry and the rolls were dense.
