Tropifruit Juice - El Cajon

The place really has gone downhill over the past couple visits. I ordered ahead because I know how bad the wait times are and they still had me wait an extra 10 minutes. The food is good just not worth the wait or price.

This place has gone downhill for sure. I'm one of the original workers when this place opened up, and also had a second location in El Cajon, and though it has now expanded in terms of real estate and the menu items, it has gone downhill in both customer service and the time it takes to make the food. It's acceptable to take as long as they do to get the food out if let's say there's only one person working everything, but there isn't. Back when it had opened if you took that long to make tortas, smoothies, and fruit salads you were not cut out for the food industry. Mind you I was 15. The layout in that place now is inefficient, how are you going to have the fruit out front and then make the smoothies in the back, that's too much time to take one thing back and then to the front again. It should not take as long as they do to make you your order. They seem to have to lack pace or work ethic, or both. The food and smoothies are still good but the wait time is ridiculous. You really can make your food faster at home.

This place used to be so good but it really lost its touch.. I ordered 2 small aguas, a small acai bowl and a small fruit salad and it was $34 i was expecting it to be pretty good given the price but the aquas were hot and had a consistency of a smoothie rather than an agua.. the fruit salad had brown apples, rotten grapes and fruit seeds in it and it was also warm.. these are supposed to be refreshing not served hot, i ended up only eating the acai bowl and wasting 30+ dollars.. Won't come again unfortunately

If you're in a rush or starving do not order here, they take way to long to prepare a sandwich. I ordered an hour ahead and still waited 15 mins. Food is good but the service is bad!

Customer service has gone downhill. Not very friendly or patient they are brash and snippy. I tried to order stuff and they were out of almost everything I asked for. And when I did order and paid they didn't have what I wanted.I also lost my points. The older lady was the best running the register she always made sure we got our points and she knew if they were out of stuff before we ordered. She was very friendly and and she was great at customer service. Just don't be in a hurry when you go.
