Bidrage med feedbackViewpoint Kitchen and Bar restaurant is a must try. For a relaxed dining experience check them out. The mood is set right with the table lights and soft silhouette. Or grab a chair and sit by their glass window, get romantic. Their menu has a nice variety which includes mixed drinks. I started eating the calamari appetizer before we took the picture. It is light and delicious.
I had a marvelous time at Sycuan May 22, 2022. We gambled ,I won ! Then I promptly went to eat at the Viewpoint! The view overlooking the pool was excellent, the service was top notch, and the food was the best! Truffle fries, chicken sandwich..the BEST! 5 star!
What a fantastic casino. I've been visiting casinos for probably 50 years of my life and even acknowledging the changes through time that could potentially take place, I found this casino so refreshing. The food was fantastic. I had lunch and breakfast there. Great food. Great service. Not one person was ever unkind, snippy, none of that. Every employee I encountered was cordial and kind. Having not gone to that casino very often I needed to know where things were. Always a kind word to help me. And hats off to Sycuan for establishing entertainment for those that really aren't interested in gambling. My friend and I found ourselves being there for a show and not much on gambling. There was a band playing and they were incredible. We ended up sitting there for probably 3 to 4 hours listening to them, dancing if we chose and chatting with people who were like us. Not interested in gambling. Anyway, it was a pleasurable experience.
Great time! Sad to see employees still wearing a mask because us policy... doesn't make any sense to cut off fresh oxygen to someone and make them breathe co2 all day long...
I'm a San Diego local, and have been coming out to the resort solo and with friends since late 2019. I don't necessarily come out there for the more exciting activities. I come out for peace, fun with friends at the hotel pool, the occasional concert, and the great dining experiences. There's something so soothing and reviving about swimming in the lazy river all day, reading a book in the pristine hot tub, and looking out at the mountains. If I wanted one, I know I could get a great massage or spa treatment at the spa downstairs. And as a student, I appreciate the convenience of the Office Center when I need to print something out or use a regular PC. You can rest assured that valet and the bell staff will always be careful and cautious with your car and suitcases, and it's always nice to see the same faces welcoming you back. Days at the pool are wonderful, whether there are just a handful of folks, or its packed with activity. No matter how busy it is, the poolside servers will always bring you the best drinks and food, and security keeps a vigilant eye on everything to help things run smoothly. I've heard that night swim (movie nights) and the poolside music events are great. The hotel also hosts conventions and events. As for the hotel itself, the rooms are always pristine and beautiful, well-appointed and cozy. No matter what part of the hotel you are in, you will have a nice view and a lovely stay. It is well worth splurging on a suite, as they are absolutely stunning and have all the modern conveniences. I have never had a negative experience with a single staff member, of any part of the hotel. Same goes for the dining experiences, though I lean toward Viewpoint, Bull and Bourbon, and Starbucks for most of my meals. The all-you-can-eat sushi at Elicit is also great. I look forward to coming back year after year!
