Royal Sweets - El Cajon

My friend from Egypt took me there and bought me some dessert. they were so different from American desserts .so imaginative and? amazing!?

I went after work and bought baklava and cookies. Both were delicious. The lady was very nice and patient as I wasn't sure what I wanted. She gave me a sample of a cream cheese pastry and it was delicious! I would definitely go back and order more!

I was thrilled to see the selection of baklava that they had and bought the Turkish baklava. my first 2 pieces had pistachios shell bits inside and when I notified them, the woman said it was normal to have shells. never in my life I have heard of a device that specifically put bowls in the baklava so that this is a huge no, stay away for me. I don't like eating in my mouth that I have to spit out. jump this place.

This place was full of such a beautiful variety of treats! Don't go there hungry like I did. We tried to buy one of everything! Highly recommend this bakery ?

Great sweets. Only downfall is with so many varieties they should really tell you what's in them. Like these little small looking cakes has really strong floral notes that I didn't like. If I knew I wouldn't have gotten it. It would be nice if everything has a sign on it.
