Arby's - El Cajon

I love arbys classic sandwich, however I can no longer order combos. The fries consistently taste like fish in this place. Highly recommend you not cook them together. My daughter and I both have had this problem. Literally everytime!

Normally pretty good. This time however the gal tried to serve me some fries that had been sitting under the warming lights from before I walked into the store. I commented about them being not so fresh and the gal said that they were, to which Ireplied that they 'd been sitting there for a while, when there were fries that had just come out of the fryer. Even then shedidn 't properly fill the container, as she was frustrated that I 'd pointed out that the others had been sitting there for awhile.

I went to try the new fish and fries, but I was disappointed with the food quality. I noticed them pulling out the fries and leaving them to sit until the fish was ready, so the food was not hot by the time it was served. On the positive side, the location was clean, and the server was polite. However, I think Arby's should stick to their BBQ offerings. The food felt overpriced for the serving size; for just $2 more, I could have had a proper meal at a sit-down restaurant.

I haven't been to this restaurant in a while and haven't tried the sandwiches yet, but the fries were good, and I got a roast beef sandwich for my dog. I just wanted to mention that I've seen comments about rude service. Honestly, I think they are just doing their job. They don’t have time for a lot of small talk, so I prefer to let them focus on their work.

The food was very overpriced and tasted bland. I ordered a three-piece chicken strip meal, but the strips were no larger than nuggets. Update: Arby's customer service took notice of my review. The store manager called me, and corporate sent me an apology along with a meal coupon inviting me to try again. They earned an extra star from me, and I’ll give them another chance. I respect their effort to make things right.
