El Canto del Mar - at Marquis Los Cabos

This was our second visit to Marquis Los Cabos but our first going to Canto del mar, at our first visit, last November we paid extra for a private dinner on the balcony of the best suite. That dinner does not compare to Canto del...mar. Canto del mar is a small, intimate, elegant space. Limited tables, per seating two seating times each evening. 6pm 8pm. Wine pairing is included. Pre fixe you think you have no choices you do, you have two options for your salad course, soup course, and dessert. Each course is exquisite and delicious. The service from Jorge from the moment you arrive makes you feel like a VIP. He explains each food course, each wine pairing. The timing for opening the cover for each dish was perfection. After you are served each course, they leave the room, you have ultimate privacy intimacy. Jorge is elegant and charming, it was the best dining service we ever experienced, we did not need to ask for anything. Jorge is beyond professional, this was 5 star dining service! There are two rotating menus that change each week, we had Lamb Chops as our main course, cooked exactly as we each asked. The other menu has filet of beef as the main course. As it turned out we were the ONLY guests at the 6pm seating. We will book it next time we are at Marquis. We know how much a fine dining experience is, and this includes the wine pairing. The extra fee is well worth it, you cannot have this experience at home anywhere near this price. You can choose (at a fee) your own bottle of wine if you do not want the sparkling wine, white wine and red wine servings. We just enjoyed the entire experience as it was set up. It was an evening to remember!

Good the extra charge. the service was impeccable, weepings and courses well explained. the timing of the courses was before location. very creative cook. that was great! eric was amazing. we would do it again!

Nice to have this experience 6 curs wein couple dinners, beautiful and free time. the wee was full of glaze and I drank everything! the meal should be a bit heavier to support all the wein, or not drink everything as I did.

I and my man have decided to celebrate our honeymoon with a special meal in canto del mar. from the beginning our two server, juan and eric, were spectacular. they were very attentive, attentive and friendly. the two asked questions about our preferences and delivered...to look deeper for each section of our six cursor meal. I and my man were blown away from the professionalism and friendliness of the workers in this facility. not to mention, eating and crying were fantastic! we would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone and all who stay in marquis los cabos, especially if they want to celebrate.

We opted to do the Canto Del Mar dining experience during our stay. It costs $108 per guest to partake but the food and wine are French and totally worth the price. The venue is small and personal, and the waiters were great.
