Bidrage med feedbackAfter an extensive stroll through Einbeck, we decided to try the well-known Einbecker beer in the traditional house Brodhaus (correctly with “soft” d!) and also take a small lunch. The place is located in the old town centre opposite the old town hall and with its over 600 years already has a lot on the hump. Some stairs lead to the place, so again difficult for Gehandikapte. Parking is not available here, of course, walking is recommended. The establishment of the place is expedient, tables covered with fabric blankets and quite open. It all works clean and tidy despite the old masonry. The special feature, however, is the 3 barrels in the adjoining room which each contain a table for 4 to 6 persons. For four people quite comfortable, for six people already a little cuddly. Seats in the barrel The service is very trained, competent and flotted. The drinks came very fast and with the menus. The special feature here is that regional products (here the mustard from the mustard mill are preferred. There are. the mustard soup at 5,20 €, Macke’s mustard carving at 12,80 € and more. The “Hausmacher Sülze” with remoulade sauce, salad dressing and roast potatoes to 9.00 € had done it to me. When I was served I got big eyes – this is from the can! The fluted can bottom was clearly visible! Later, I should learn that this product comes from the farmer Otte and is also offered in the other places operated by Mr Macke with minor variations. Well, we in Bavaria know a Sulze something different, so it wasn't my taste. But that's not a reason for depreciation. However, the other dishes of my fellow citizens were to their satisfaction. The Einbecker Bierbraten vom Schweinnacken zu 12,80 € in Braunbiersauce was astonished as Macke’s Senfschnitzel with a panade of different mustard varieties on a fry and mustard sauce. The roast potatoes served to the dishes can really be called beautiful tan and crispy. The prices of the main dishes range from just under €10.00 to €26.50 for a 200 g Black Angus Filet. Although the local was filled to the last place (a registered Radler team had the local okcouped we were friendly. fast and stress-free served. The service is really on Trapp and trained. After a sightseeing tour of the old town absolutely recommended, especially you can also perform a comprehensive beer sample of the Einbeck brewery!
