163 Egham

I have been living in Egham for 7 years and have always enjoyed dining at 163. The food is delicious, the service is top-notch, and the location and ambiance are perfect. However, while the ambiance of the bar is suitable for children, they do not offer a children's menu. Additionally, a consistent issue I have had with 163 is that they often run out of food quickly. On a recent visit at 12pm, which I consider to be the start of lunch service, we were disappointed to learn that they had already run out of rack of ribs. How is that possible when we were one of the first to order? This has happened before and it is quite frustrating. Despite these issues, the overall dining experience at 163 is still first-class and I would recommend it.

Bar 163 was bustling with activity, with the attentive staff and satisfactory food making for an enjoyable lunch experience.

There were 4 of us not 5 who went to Bar 163, as one of our party was unable to turn up. we had a pleasant meal which we all enjoyed. we will return. We found it strange that students used one of the tables as their office with computers and books etc but only water in front of them at least while we were there, which was for three hours) while a large party was turned away!

I recently dined at Bar 163 for the first time and although the decor was unique and charming and the initial service was good, I was underwhelmed by the food, especially the dense cheesecake dessert. As the evening progressed and the restaurant got busier, the service noticeably declined. To improve, they should consider hiring more staff, especially during peak times or for large party reservations. Overall, I'm not in a rush to come back.
