Waffle Hut - EGG HARBOR CITY

Enjoyed a nice welcome experience at the waffle hut and the lady behind the counter was a pleasant women and made the restaurant environment better food was great, and service was good.

I dont know what anyone else in this review is talking about because the food is horrible the place is filthy my side order couldnt be made due to the oven being to dirty it wouldnt light it took 30 munutes to get me and my wifes food probably due to the fact they had to go to the grocery store twice in the process of making our food and the two of us were the only people in the establishment. I would never go again or ever have anyone go to this place. The only reason i gave one star is because it dont give the option of giving none.

The only reason I left a star is because of the lady cook, she was so pleasant and nice. Unfortunately our experience was god awful. There was grease covering the salt and pepper shakers, first and foremost. I ordered coffee and a man brought it out to me that had grease covering his whole shirt and the coffee had grinds all in it, looked like instant coffee. We got our food and it was cold, never coming back

THIS PLACE IS A DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH! The owners are tremendously nice and helpful. Truly genuine people. I was greeted when I entered the restaurant, and was asked if I've ever been there before. This was my first time. He explained the menu to me, and helped with my decisions. Matea cooks the food with the best, freshest, tastiest ingredients. I've seen reviews complaining about how long the food took and that it was cold. GREAT FOOD takes time and care, and when I got home and sat down to eat my food with my family my food was still incredibly warm as if it was just off the stove. Mind you, it takes me 15 minutes to get home, and I had the air blasting. I would rather wait 40 to 45 minutes for a home cooked meal, rather than 20 minutes for some overcooked, lousy sized piece of meat or pasta. I've also posted pics, which I never do, because Matea even took time to precisely place all the food in the containers! I would've alone given them 5 stars for their service and taking the time to get to know me personally, but the food was absolutely amazing and sealed the deal! I will definitely be back for more!!!

I have always loved this place great prices and good food until the last few months our orders were wrong and now today my bagel was moldy I would include a picture but it's not given me the option to do so. Needless to say this is the last time we will order from there!!!!!!!
