I am not leaving this review because they were backed up on orders, short staffed, and took very long to get the smoothie. I understand times are hard right now and today was a popular day to get a smoothie with the heat.I am merely only leaving this review because I am severely lactose intolerant, I asked for almond milk, and I 100% can guarantee that regular milk was put in my smoothie. Unfortunately I have been very sick all day. Love smoothie king but not today :
This locations “machine” seems to always be broken. I’ve been here several times in a weeks time and each and every time they claim the machine is broken and they can’t make drinks because they don’t know the recipe? My daughter and I also came here twice last Saturday and was told the same thing but saw a woman walk out the store with a large drink. Poor customer service. Beat practice is if systems are out of service to place a sign on the door and contact partners such as Door Dash to inform them of the situation to deter orders being placed. Ridiculous. Edwardsville needs a Planet Smoothie or a competitor that will provide exceptional service.
Sharing this review in hopes the restaurant realizes their staff constantly turn their online ordering on and off. I understand the volume at times and have no complaints there, but this evening before 6:00 PM I tried to place an order for pickup the tomorrow morning at 7:00 AM. When I went to checkout, it said ordering at that time is not available. Ok, I get that. I tried to bump it back and they are not allowing any orders for tomorrow at any time throughout the entire day. WHY IS THIS??? Why can I not have a simple smoothie order fulfilled when it is placed a day in advance? People who plan ahead in advance seem to be always downgraded for drive-thru orders at most establishments today. This was an order for 5 and not just 1. You are losing a big piece of business with advance orders that are likely larger chunks of revenue. Just thought I would relay in hopes you realize that not only are you losing money out the door, but customers too.

A lot of choices so I took a bit making my order but the worker was patient.4 stars bc the screen backlight was out on the menu so it was hard to read
