Global Brew Tap House - Edwardsville

This is a lovely place. I don’t usually visit bars, but I wanted to check out their whiskey selection. I had their 12-year-old Scotch, and it was decent. The sausage sampler platter I tried was absolutely fantastic, as younger folks would say. I highly recommend this spot. I'm not an expert in this field—maybe in anything, really—but I think you'll enjoy the food and drinks here.

On a positive note, we did reach out to management, and they said they would look into whether they needed additional staff, which they definitely do. I plan to wait a while and come back, hoping to finally try those delicious tater tots. I'm not giving up on this place just yet, as that wouldn't be fair, but I do hope they reconsider their staffing levels as summer approaches. I noticed a few other customers got up and left during our visit as well.

I waited 20 minutes without any service and I'm really disappointed. The place was only about a third full. It has a nice atmosphere, but don't expect to get a drink here.

Food was hit or miss. Beer was plentiful. Atmosphere was fun but lots of flys. Service was very less than. Maybe the server was having a bad day but it genuinely just looked like she was being careless. We had to ask her to help our table after we sat for an awkward amount of time. When I tried to get a beer at the bar she told me to sit down. Neither the menu nor the beer list was explained or promoted in any way at all. We had to ask for the check. We had to ask for to go boxes. And then ask again. Definitely going to try again and hope for a better service and food experience.

Love the beer selection and atmosphere but the bartender with the dark hair who is balding and has a beard is super rude and makes me not want to return!
