Bidrage med feedbackWent to Tony's after an Elks game on the weekend. It was pretty busy, but the service was still really good. We ordered pizzas and they were also good. I would recommend trying it out.
Ordered a veal baked Italian hero sandwich for takeout. Was pretty loud in the background, so I made sure to confirm that I wanted veal before I hung up. Ended up with a chicken sandwich. After calling to let them know, I went back and got the right order.Very disappointed. I was expecting veal cutlets, not 10-12 little chunks of meat. Decent flavour, but each bite had more veggies than veal. Overpriced at $17.I come here every so often for takeout when I'm in town. This was likely my last visit.
I want to love this pizza so bad because of its legendary status in Edmonton, but I don’t like it as much as other pizzerias. The original New York style is really good. I've also had the New York New York which was a miss. Felt very greasy and a little flat in taste. Margherita and Bianca were alright. The fettuccine carbonara was alright, nothing special. Not enough salt or flavour coming through.
Ordered a pizza for takeout. Was told it would be 25-30 min wait. Picked up pizza drove a couple blocks away to park and enjoy. It was HORRIBLE. We got the XL Peter's, which I think is like an 18 pizza. The center was soggy and raw and not just the very middle, I'm saying the center 3-4 inches. The outer crust was crisp but stale tasting, and the quality of the meats on the pizza was not great. For a place that I have heard so much about, I have to say I am extremely disappointed and will never eat from there again.
An institution for me as a kid growing up and going with Dad. Now live in Vancouver and had not ordered from there in 16 years. Ordered for pickup, my partner had her favourite pizza which was good. I ordered lasagna which for the price point the takeout version was small. I also ordered a $14 salad which was soggy without dressing and dressing container was only filled a quarter and they gave a bun with no butter or utensils.
