The Harvest Room - Edmonton

We had dinner while staying at the hotel. Excellent dinner with amazing service. The menu is varied with lots of different offerings. We had the 3 course dinner special which was a great value.

I had the pleasure of supper in this beautiful restaurant and it's all an experience, the food is simply delicious, the view, on the terrace is superb and the service is impeccable. only a tiny shadow is on the table and it is a very personal choice. The majority of meats are cooked in vacuum and so it is impossible to have very bleeding, as I love them. On the other hand, my beef net was tender and succulent.

The over all management and location of the hotel is excellent but the food was tasteless.One morning we went for breakfast. we were fairly early and there were only a few other people there.by the time we received our food a long time had passed, the place was very full and almost everyone had their food other than us. The waitress came over a few times and said our food was on its way with no other explanation. Not what we are use to from our Fairmont hotels we have visited.

I took my expert for dinner here in the evening. This was our second time to eat here after working for a mutual client. We had a lovely time, I ate the duck and matched a wonderful red wine. We also loved the crème brulee which was flavoured with lavender. The service was excellent, and we were the last to leave.

The Harvest Room is a special occasion go-to place. The service has always been good to exceptional, the food wonderful, and the room and associated view hard to beat in the city. But they also do little extras. For our anniversary they provided a complimentary desert and sparkling wine. It's the little extras that make the restaurant stand out.
