The Clever Rabbit Vegetarian Cafe

This is my first 2-star review and I am sad about it, but I really have concerns about this place. The first time I visited, the food was very delicious. Large French toast, large salad, but very slow service. Not the most beautiful. The second time I visited, they were closed for no reason. I know life is happening, so we went for a third time. This time it was bizarre. The place was overcrowded by the smell of cat litter that was severely unpleasant. Whoever worked also had their children walking around, and it just looked like a real mess. As in, not clean. Again, I am compassionate with working mothers and still gave the advantage of doubt. But the service was just as unpleasant as if it was upset that we had arrived. No greeting, just a kind of eye guard. When we said we were leaving, she said nothing. She just gave her up and walked away. So. I know that this was a very deplorable day, but I have heard similar comments from others and do not think that the attitude is completely a unique moment. Interesting restaurant. Save decor, but the food was pretty good. Many really interesting options on the menu- really wanted to try the Donair based on the reviews and the waitress for their recommendations. It has breakfast all day and saw a vegan eggs Benedict, making me even more curious than the Donair... so I ordered them both. The eggs Benedikt was interesting- ok but not something I would order again. But the Donair with sweet potato hash was the capital of E- Excellent! It had an unexpected sweet taste and was very tasty with Sriracha sauce. Only complaints about the Donair is that it is super messy and hard to eat without getting sauce over itself. It's not food. or later eat. There is so much sauce that it will make the bread to eat Very curious to try more stuff

The Clever Rabbit is a sweet restaurant with many good, delicious vegan dishes. The rabbit decoration is also enchanting.

The food is okay, but I felt like the food wasn't very fresh. I had a donair that was okay and a cookie that was hard and dry. Update: I had the chicken burger and it was delicious. However, the service is very slow. Updated by previous review on 2020-06-18
