Sai Woo Garden Restaurant - Edmonton

After going out for dinner at two new restaurants and being disappointed with the meal at both, I just had to go to my favorite Chinese restaurant that I have been going to since I was a kid. I believe this may be the oldest running Chinese restaurant in Edmonton please correct me if I'm wrong). You can always count on this restaurant to be consistent with the quality of their food. Always fresh and they are so fast in serving each dish. Staff is friendly even when it's really busy. The deep fried calamari has got to be the most iconic dish that everyone orders. The batter is so light and crispy. Everything tastes good here. We order the dinner for six so we can have leftovers. The restaurant is old and could use some new upgrades but I take comfort in the atmosphere that still remains the same along with their amazing food that I've enjoyed with my family as a kid and now my own family gets to enjoy their food. Thanks Sai Woo staff for the wonderful meal and service.

My family has been coming here for many years and the staff even knows us. Danny, Alex, and Anna are all great. Danny even recommended some amazing dishes that we haven’t tried before! Great quality dishes and always delicious. They are also good with substitutions and allergies. My cousin can’t have gluten, so they were willing to make a noodle dish without soy sauce just for her. Overall amazing restaurant and tasty food! My family’s favourite Chinese restaurant in Edmonton!

I've been coming to Sai Woo for many years and I consider it a staple as one of Edmonton's best Chinese restaurants. The food is remarkable and the service is always amazing and personable. I've had many birthday celebrations here as well and Sai Woo is more than happy to accommodate a large group reservation (at times up to 40-60 people) without ever having any issues. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking to get their Chinese food fix in, you will not be disappointed!

This restaurant has fantastic service, with such a warm and family-friendly atmosphere. The food is incredible! I have been coming here for years, and it tastes amazing every time.
