Red Goose Restaurant - Edmonton

I mostly care about the food and the price. Other people want friendly service and engaged staff. This place had very friendly service and promptness. The prices were cheap which I like. The eggs were cooked the way we wanted them. My friend found his sausage and bacon over done, but my meal was fine.

This is not somewhere you would normally go, looks like a little hole in the wall. You walk in and are happily greeted by the owner. "Happy Day"! you can't help but smile :-) He comes over and attends to you right away. We had menu's, drinks and a smile within 2 minutes, now that is service.We ordered from the abundant offerings for breakfast. We both ordered a ham, cheese and mushroom omelet, it was delicious.Coffee was refilled without having to ask, he chatted to us and made us laugh. All in all, this was a splendid breakfast. The interior is a little run down, would be nice if he renovated, but then it may loose some of it's "hole in the Wall"ambiance. Love this place.

I absolutely love the food at "Red Goose". The owners are just as great as the food, super friendly the moment you walk in and when you leave. This hidden gem has been around a long time and has been a place I would go for the rest of my life. I recommend anybody to try the blueberry pancakes, or any of the daily specials just make sure you pick a day when they have wonton soup.I come almost once a week on the weekend to have my breakfast.

Stopped here because it was the closest place google found for breakfast. Its location is in a residential area, but easy to find. Very welcoming. The owner brought me a delicious fresh coffee and a news paper right as I sat down. The breakfast was incredible! A true diner meal, cooked perfect. Great portions and very reasonable price.Its safe to say this is my new breakfast spot. I recommend this place to everyone.

Excellent service! Delicious home cooked meal. Well worth the stop! It was nice To have a real cracked egg rather than boxed powdered **** you'd receive in chain restaurants.
