Queen Donair - Edmonton

Queen Donair is an average establishment located just a few steps away from Corona LRT Station. Despite being the only option in the area that offers burgers and donairs, the overall experience was just average. The service from the cashier was friendly and efficient, but the cooks in the kitchen seemed unhappy. The wait times varied, and orders were not always prepared in a logical order. The double Queen burger was juicy and delicious, while the regular donair was average and the meat was slightly burnt. The fries were crispy but seemed to be frozen. Overall, Queen Donair is suitable for its convenient location with limited alternatives, but there are better options in Edmonton such as Swiss Donair and Primetime.

The donairs at this restaurant are fantastic. I decided to try them after having a disappointing shawarma at Sultan Express across the street. It's no surprise that one place is empty while the other has a constant flow of customers. I enjoy getting a donair here for lunch often because I absolutely love them.

Great Late Night Food. Very fast service, friendly staff, good donairs. A good spot to grab food on your way home.

Positive. This was the initial location where I experienced a donair for the first time. While working nearby during a summer break from school, my colleagues brought me here and I recall it being an exceptional donair. Although I have not revisited since then, I returned recently and found the meat to be too dry and not as delicious as the one from the Stony Plain location. Nonetheless, it was satisfactory but did not live up to the high standards set during my first visit.
