Bidrage med feedbackBest chicken on planet earth.crisp and spicy if ordered as the spice alternative which I recommend. The fries are outstanding but am uncertain if they are transfats free as of yet though as I understand it, this is supposed to be happening in Canada anyway. The chicken apparently is transfats free. People like the biscuits but they are not my thing so cannot comment on them other than that they look like biscuits...the chicken, oh the chicken! It is the only fried chicken I have ever found that can ve warmed up after freezing or refrigeration that maintains its crisp crustiness..awesome...it makes other chain fried chicken chains in Edmonton at least I have tried as disgusting.
First time going to Popeye's. It was tasty chicken but a long wait. It was lined up galore and hot inside as it was outside (30+ degrees Celsius) Food was good, pop was warm (as the ice machine didn't work). Mardigras cheese cake was good too. Would consider visiting again at a less busy time.
We have been waiting for this chain to arrive, and so glad its here. Two of us split the 4 piece platter, and it was good for lunch, but I defiantly could eat more chicken! We decided to try the spicy, and it was just right, not too hot, still enjoyable to eat without looking for a drink. Love the crunch on this chicken, and not greasy, or slimy, like KFC sometimes. If I knew how good the biscuits were, we would have gotten more of those, so good! They just need to keep the butter out of the "freezer" ?, it was hard to spread on the soft biscuit. We enjoyed the Cajun fries and the rings even seemed to have a bit of spice. It was a very late lunch time and the place was still packed, hard to get a table, cant imagine at a peak time. Next visit, we will try the original recipe and some different sides, lots to choose from.Glad to see they also staff appropriately, 4-5 working the tills at a time, there was no long wait.
Could be much better Ultra busy at 843pm Understaffed and overpriced More drumstick and wings then a mixture of pieces
Heard that they had opened some Popeye's in Alberta, and couldn't wait for my next trip to Edmonton to try them out. Being a fairly new restaurant, it was quite busy. Service was great and the food was I remember it, when I was last in Vegas.
