Noorish Cafe - Edmonton

I have to say I appreciate the concept here but I may have just ordered the wrong thing. It was pretty bland and uninspiring. That said, I have heard from others that it's great, so I will try again.

Food was fantastic, I had the split pea soup and chicken and waffles, my girlfriend had the salad trio. All of which was delicious and fair sized portion wise. Only issue was it took over an hour to get our food. It took 15mins just to get water. Wanted desert but simply ran out of time. Three stars for food, the minus two stars for slow service.

You can't go to Edmonton without stopping here! I've had the golden potato cakes, the raw tacos, and the Moroccan quinoa which were all amazing. However, the best thing you will EVER taste and I mean the BEST is there version of a nanaimo bar, I always have one in restaurant and take one home too! It is like heaven! Also, you can't go here without have an Elixir the Chaga chai is also to die for! Seriously if you haven't already eaten here, go NOW!

My birthday dinner was a tasty veggie burger which was very tasty indeed. fresh bun and handmade patty with lots of flavour. Wheel chair access is through the kitchen but they are happy to accommodate.

Mothers' day brunch was great- the food, the ambiance, the service! Keep it up. Well worth the experience.
