Noodle 42 - Edmonton

I've been to this little strip mall area dozens of times to go to BPs, Michaels and Bulk Barn but just found out that this place existed, because of a tip

Prices have been going up and up. Not impressed. I have been going to other restaurants due to this change unfortunately.

I've been to Noodle 42 numerous times over the last 5 years and their food is pretty consistent when it comes to quality and taste. It's not the most flavorful Vietnamese food I've ever had, but their menu has lots of options. The servers are attentive and able to answer any questions or make substitutions to your meal. They also do phone orders which is nice. They have high chairs for kids and seem to be accommodating. Prices are average for Vietnamese food, and you never have to wait for a table since the restaurant is quite large.

This is my second review of this place, the first one i wrote about 3 years ago. The last year I have noticed that the quality of food had improved. They must have a changed of cook, obvious change of menu. Good value for your buck. My family specially like the meal deal on the first page of their menu. Grilled Pork Chop ( 2 ) fried rice, small soup, pop for $13.95 However they do not have very many other main dish options like the ones you will find in a chinese restaurant ( because this is a viatnamese restaurant) they will have the type of meal where it is a rice or vermicelli on the bottom and then the toppings on top. Their soup ( Pho's ) is failry good, place is always clean, bathroom is clean but could use a major facelift. Servers are wonderful, they are consistent with their service and the food the they put out. Parking is easy to find. Good value.
