My spouse and I visited this restaurant for a romantic evening out. It has a pleasant atmosphere and the service is really friendly and authentic. We enjoyed freshly made spring rolls, a delicious Pad Thai with a hint of peanuts, and a variety of fruits served in warm coconut cream for dessert. I highly recommend trying their Thai iced tea, it will truly impress you.

The lady came back after a few minutes and brought us two waters. We ordered the spring rolls and Thai Chicken Satays, which were marinated chicken served with peanut sauce. For my main dish, I ordered the Panang Curry with onions instead of long beans, and coconut rice. My husband opted for the Pad Thai with coconut rice. It was clear that she was the only one working in the restaurant at the time as she served us and also cooked the food. The spring rolls were hot, crispy, and delicious, and the Chicken Satays were quite generous in size and had a light curry coating with a tasty peanut dipping sauce. Both our main dishes were served promptly. My husband enjoyed his Pad Thai, and I liked my Panang Curry with onions just as I had requested. During our meal, the lady serving us, whose name was Aoy, came back to check on us. She shared that she and her husband were the owners of the restaurant and that she was also a trained chef. They had opened the restaurant about three months ago. We had a pleasant conversation with her, and I assured her that we would return. The food was delicious, the service was good, and it was nice to have Chef Aoy come and speak with us. If you find yourself in the North East area, I recommend giving Lan Phu Thai Restaurant a try. The food is delicious, and supporting local businesses is always a good choice.
