Kyoto Japanese Cuisine Ltd - Edmonton

Brutally disappointed. I watched my wife eat her bento box it was apparently quite good… while I sipped sake for twenty minutes waiting for my sashimi. Finally we gave up and I canceled my order. Fortunately, on our way home we saw an old favourite restaurant, OTTO, was still open and we stopped in and enjoyed a lovely Crème brûlée. Thank you, Kyoto for reminding me that as an adult I can eat dessert for dinner if I want to…. The problem is, I didn’t want dessert for dinner. I really wanted sashimi at your house. I gave this malfunction two stars only because my wife liked her food. And I guess the sake was warm.

Sadly my experience at this restaurant was not great and for the price I was expecting more. It is also located in one of my favorite strip malls in town. I am not sure I will try it again.

This restaurant used to be a family favourite. The family and I tried to celebrate my birthday tonight and we were all disappointed. I ordered a baked oyster and received two over cooked deep fried oysters. Our octopus was served to us in 1 inch sawed through chunks and still frozen. The rolls were falling apart when we tryed to pick them up, and the wasabi was very grainy off in flavour). We were not even able to order a second drink to go with dinner. All in all it was a very expensive and disappointing experience. I would not suggest eating here at all.

This was our first time eating here. We were from out of town and ordered this through Skip the Dishes. Food was amazing. Lots of choices. Everything tasty great nothing was 'fishy ' tasting. We ordered teriyaki chicken, sushi, tempura and a few other items and we were not disappointed by anything. Will order from here again next time we are int he city!

Best sushi place in town. Fish are fresh and great atmosphere. Service are good and free parking in the downtown area
