Bua Thai Restaurant - Edmonton

Menu not located on their website, and when I called they directed me to DoorDash website (closed for in person dining due to covid). Once I went to Doordash site, I still couldn't locate it (New York, but not Edmonton, AB). I call the restaurant back to let them, (as a courtesy) and he was rude and then hung up on me (apparently, doesn't really want to sell any food).

I have only ordered takeout as the first time I went was after the pandemic. I have been three times. The menu is extensive. The service is friendly. The decor is traditional and modern at the same time. The coco rice is outstanding. The veggie Thai spring rolls are super crispy, well seasoned and served with a light dipping sauce. The Spicy Basil beef is my favourite dish and the street noodles are so flavourful. The prices are a bit more than other restaurants, but the quality of the food warrants the price. I hope people continue to get take out and support businesses with good quality like this so that they can make it through this pandemic.

Went here by default. The place I wanted to go was closed. This is a nice independent place. Ordered spicy basil chicken. This was excellent. Ordered a shrimp dish (can't remember which one). It was better than the chicken. My wife wanted the crispy egg noodles. She liked it. I did not. Food was definitely affordable and very good quality. Right across the street from the basilica.

The servvice was good for a to go order. The food is always very good food but a bit expensive compared to others. portions do not match cost.
