Atlas Steak Fish – West Edmonton Mall Starlight Casino

We ordered the Seafood Tower, but unfortunately they were out of oysters. What a disappointment!

The service we received from our waitress really made our dining experience exceptional. She shared helpful information about the tomahawk pork chop and sea bass dishes we ordered, as well as the vodka ginger and razzmatazz drinks. She also had a great attitude and made our anniversary celebration even more enjoyable. From the moment we arrived until we left, we knew we had found a new favorite restaurant. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Short version: Don’t bother, not worth it. Extended version: Not great for many reasons. We waited awhile to be seated but it wasn’t busy and whilst there was a bartender close by and a waitress, nobody acknowledged us until the host finally appeared. The ambiance seemed nice at first but there was a table of 12-15 close by and throughout the night they got louder and louder, with one person screaming the F word and yelling across the table at the top of his lungs. The manager asked him twice maybe three times to keep it down. It wasn’t quiet until he left the group he came with. (Now obviously this could happen at any establishment but for being fine dining and many people celebrating something special you would expect management not to let it continue). Our food took forever and came out at different times. We asked a few times for water refills and that didn’t happen. Our empty dishes sat in front of us for a good half hour with only one person stopping by to clear them but only when we got their attention. Our server did his best but he had a large 12-15 person table and so he couldn’t be at two places at once. There was absolutely no team work. Lots of people standing around but no one actually helping out. Our food was NOT worth the price you paid for it. Our waiter was very apologetic for the experience we had and ended up comping our drinks and my meal which was definitely appreciated after having the night we had. Would not recommend, lots of other great places to have a steak in the city.

Very good experience, the food was delicious, generous portions. The restaurant have a special ambience. The staff was friendly and professional. We recommend for any special event.
