Bidrage med feedbackThey closed the whyte ave location and didn’t check if there were future reservations through open table. We showed up and the place was closed. The website still has the close location on it too. When we contacted the jasper ave location, they said they canceled their open table account for the whyte ave location 3 weeks ago. We booked our anniversary dinner 2.5 months ago. Based on the poor customer service we will not go to the other location downtown ever.
Food was good and came out in a timely manner. Waitress seemed uninterested in being at work and therefore showed in how she served us. Overall okay experience.
I found the cost for the quality not good. The ambiance was nice but the server was rushing us and the food was just ok. Shrimp way too salty, appetizers ok.
Yeah! Really nice atmosphere and the service is really friendly but a teeny bit slow. They are super good with allergies or diet restrictions and they have really unique, delicious entrees which includes a lot of seafood and a few veggie options. Try the grapefruit rose wine, yum!
This restaurant is in a great location near Whyte Avenue. The ambience is cozy and quite elegant. This is definitely a sit down restaurant. An interesting detail was the brown paper table runners protecting the tablecloths. I haven't really seen or noticed this in fancy restaurants. It seemed a bit odd to me. However, the table settings were attractive and sharp, with the red and black color scheme. A lot of the menu items sounded really tasty. I had a hard time deciding what to eat. I found the prices seemed pretty reasonable. Most of the lunch items were under $20. I opted for the Caesar Fried Chicken Sandwich with butter leaf, roma tomato, banana pepper jelly and a side of fries for $16. As soon as the plate was presented to me, the first thing I noticed were the large cut fries with coarse salt. These fries were very tasty. Crispy and not too salty. The fried chicken was moist, however I found the piece of chicken quite thick compared to the thickness of the bun. I also found the bottom of the bun became soggy as I was eating. I didn't finish that part of my bun. To finish my sandwich I took the last part of the chicken out and cut it into smaller pieces. Overall, the service was good and my meal was okay. I'll have to come back again and try the other items on the menu.
