Just 5 stars. The Filialfront is inconspicuous and becomes you in thinking an ordinary restaurant, but it is not. The first thing you will notice to go in the door is the wonderful smell to torture you while you are acquainted with what items to order. Very clean and fast service. Everything was very good. They are obviously proud of their work.
BBQ Lamb Skewers, Lanzhou Beef Noodle, any of the Biang Biang dishes, and their chopped brewed pork sandwiches are definitely my favorites. Also try the garlic cucumber salad. It's all right. Try everything honestly. It's just that you start! It will prove that your noodle dishes are also generous. Come hungry!
Overall, this restaurant has some fine noodles. It is very time-consuming to make noodles so, and even more to perfect them to the point that is chewing and firm. I feel like the supplements could improve. The cucumbers were a little too mad. I think they would have been better with sugar in the marinade. The mouthwatering chicken, as indicated on the menu, was filled with bones, and the chicken was too small. That makes it too salty, which is quite sad. The beef tendons were also very hard and cold, another slight disappointment. However, their pot stickers were good. It had a pronounced taste of Laek, which was pleasant. 4.2 stars.
This is not your typical Chinese restaurant: no orange chicken, no Kung Pao, etc... It stays true to its roots, offering dishes from the Northeast region of China. It is therefore an adventure for those who have not had such taste combinations which are full of great spices. One of the common dishes of this area is a full chicken over noodles and strong spices. It's enough for the whole family. There are many small dishes to try as well. It's a unique taste.
