Authentic!. This East Coast Girl LOVES Hobby 's! Authentic...yet so glad to not have to wait in a long line outside saying, 'one wiz without ' or 'one provolone with ' or getting kicked out of line if you didn 't say it right! I saw a comment on here that the owner is from Baltimore and that is false. George Hobison is from Delaware. His daughter Kim told me that they still fly in the pepper mix from Delaware. So while they are not from the city of Philadelphia (isn 't the state of Delaware smaller than the city of Philly, LOL , they still know what a truly authentic Philly cheesesteak is (I 'm just glad they use real provolone and not that cheez whiz ****!! . I 've had the pizza and pasta and other sandwiches and they 're delicious. I just love that cheesesteak!
