Bidrage med feedbackWaiter was great as was the food like we remembered. This was our first visit to the new location and not thrilled with the main dining room atmosphere
The atmosphere and feel, definitely well thought out and executed. Service was pretty good, but there is such a thing as too enthusiastic, and unfortunately our waiter was visibly very involved, dare I saying flirting loudly, with another table most of our meal, which was unfortunate when a simple checkup would have helped us fill our water cups when needed. The food was neither spectacular nor poor. We ordered apps, dinner, and dessert. Quality across the plates was inconsistent and unfortunately for my wife “the only redeeming part of the meal was the chocolate cake”. Needless to say, I think we can easily find a better was to blow $100 next time we have an anniversary.
Pretty good food but overpriced for the portions, decent service, not much in the way of atmosphere, restaurant layout waiting area is a little awkward. Best Italian cafe option in Edmond.
We went to Gabriella's tonight for dinner. We haven't been in a while due to travel and the holidays. I knew that Chicken Picatta was gone the last time I had dinner. I find out at the end of my meal that Wedding Cake is gone? What? Who? Where? How? First my Chicken Picatta was scrapped and now my Wedding cake? The teeny boppers that come in once in a blue moon may want dounut holes NEWSFLASH they don't pay the bills, your customers who have been coming your restaurant for 10 or more years are the folks who have been loyal. Please, for the love of all that is holy, bring back chicken picatta and wedding cake. Sorry, I diverted from tonights dinner. I had roma pasta and hubs had the bocatini festival. It was just okay. The festival dish usually has more sauce, it was pretty dry tonight. The roma pasta had plenty of sauce; however, I'm not sure where the chicken was hanging out in there; it was hard to find. The highlight of the evening was my dirty martini, please for the love of God do not let your bar tender go anywhere, she is fantastic. For the rest of it I just kinda shrug my shoulders. I understand that moving to a new place can be a challenge; however, moving to Edmond in a strip center? It just feels like I'm paying too much for a meal in a strip center. I guess Vito's it is....unless that picatta comes back then I'm there everytime the doors open. Come on, if you ate Vicki's picatta everyday I'd be big as a barn, it's stupid amazing.
Being from Upstate New York it has been heard to find an nice Italian restaurant. Gabriella's exceeded my expectations. Great food, great service, and the restaurant reminded me of one of my favorite restaurants in NY.
