Credo House Coffee Shop - Edmond

This place -- now closed -- was good but BIZARRE. I mean, I always think that I'm inured to living in the South until I encounter something like AN EVANGELICAL CHRISTIAN COFFEE HOUSE. (Seriously. No joke.) The coffee was great. Seriously. Maybe the best in the metro. It was just freaky to sit below a pic of Jan Hus or Martin Luther or D.L. Moody while sipping my chai or stirring my espresso, that's all. Ah, life in the Bible Belt!

Great atmosphere. The coffee was good also. No one was there at 8:45 am when I arrived, so I thought they were closed. Does not seem like they get a ton of business. A little out of the way but worth it for a treat.

Higher Grounds is the place to go for studying, great coffee/drinks, and delicious desserts and snacks.

What's this?.a coffee shop close to home that's not Starbucks? I'll take it! I've been here a few times and never been disappointed.
