The Dolar Shop Hot Pot - Edison

The food and service is very good. The broth of the hotpot is clean and no strong after-taste. However, this place is pricey. I am not sure if is worth what I paid for. But it is a nice to go occasionally.

Outside is a little run down, but decor is very nice and airy inside. Each person have their individual pot with their own choice of broth. There’s also a source bar to mix you own sources. Serving staffs were attentive and friendly. Foods were great, fresh and tasty but portions were small. Overall excellent but a bit pricey.

2019.04 look fancy. Fresh food. Not bad soup base is great so is the sauce. They hv good combination soy sauce ,not the salty kind. It is sweet. And they separate it from the sauce bar. And sauce bar u barely found salty sauce.. Good. Pick their red star choice. Beef is not as great. Shrimp paste excellent. In terms of clean......that will need improvement

Fancy and yummy hot pot with affordable prices. I got so much food for the $15 lunch special set. They also offer a buffet snack bar which includes in the lunch special set. You can enjoy hot pot and unlimited snack. I’ll definitely come back again.

The food is very delicious and the service is also very nice. Compared with other hot pot restaurant this one is very new and high-end. It's a little bit pricy though and the quantity per order is small. There are also the chain restaurants in New York and they are all crowded and fortunately this one is not. Good place for family and friends.
